The PARALYZERS were founded in 1994 as a Rock ‘n’ Roll band with 2 guitars, bass, drums and vocals.
They chose for a not so common repertoire of relatively unknown covers (Stray Cats, Webb Wilder, Paladins, Blazers, Hank Williams jr., Fabulous Thunderbirds etc).
All songs were "paralyzed", using the credo : "it's better to play a good cover than to write and play a mediocre own song".
In 1997, just as the band started to gain some local fame, one of the guitarists called it a day. After a lot of auditions, the PARALYZERS decided not to hire a second guitar picker. They carried on in a basic setup (guitar, bass, drums), but this meant the repertoire had to be reviewed thoroughly.
In 1998 the PARALYZERS were back, and after some highly praised gigs at for instance "Swingin' Genk", they recorded a demo CD, that was very well received by Studio Brussels' Bluestown.
In 2002 the PARALYZERS recorded their first, long awaited 'full-demo CD' with 14 tracks of their repertoire. The CD was recorded live in the spirit of the fifties in just 2 days.
Ears that recognize good rock 'n' roll fully agree after first hearing this CD: this band really rocks!

Drummer and singer have their roots in the punk scene. This results in a no-nonsense approach and short, powerful songs.
The PARALYZERS don't make things easy for themselves by playing this genre, but anyone who sees them perform live gets convinced of the great "YEEEHAAA" factor of this band.
A pumping rhythm section, a crystal clear, yet heavy guitar; a mixture of Rhythm 'n' Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, a bit of country and a sniff of rockabilly: It’s the PARALYZERS’ way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
